Aubrey Cronce was recently selected as the grand prize winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition! Aubrey’s oil painting with collaged printed photos, Midsummer Spark, represents our district and the state of Wisconsin.
The Jerry Awards program encourages, recognizes, and honors excellence in high school musical theater. School and student achievements were honored and featured in an awards show held at Overture Center on Sunday, June 8.
This incredible group of students has grown, overcome challenges, and supported each other over the course of their educational careers. It's been nothing short of inspiring! As they walk across that stage and into the next chapter, they carry with them the strength, spirit, and pride of the Lumberjack legacy. Once a Lumberjack, Always a Lumberjack!

Congratulations to the five Wausau School District seniors for earning UW-Green Bay associate degrees before their high school graduation through the Rising Phoenix program! They will begin their college journey as third-year students!
EEA is a public charter school in the Wausau School District serving students in grades 6-12. It offers a more individualized learning environment to students who don’t find the traditional school setting to be a good fit for them.
WAVE is a virtual charter school in the Wausau School District – offering full and part-time opportunities to students living anywhere in the state of Wisconsin. Students have the opportunity to work at a place and pace that fits their needs. The program continues to grow as more families seek innovative and accessible education options in the Wausau School District.
This is a tremendous honor and a testament to his dedication to education, athletics and activities, and student success.
